Werner Kriel Architectural is an architectural firm, providing architectural related services. We are registered with the South African Institute of Architecture as well as the South African Institute for Architectural Technologist.

We generally pride ourselves in obtaining work through an "word of mouth ", attitude rather than selling ourselves blindly through advertisement. We have also learned that that our capability is limited to the number of hours in a week - this rather trying to provide an quality service that  being a quantity driven office. This we are mostly appointed via referrals.

This firm consist of 1 only 100 % shareholder, which is supported by a permanent employed drawing office that consist generally out of 3 to 4 staff members. We also employ a permanent staff member, to visit the various Local Authority offices on a permanent basis, to enable the approval processes as hands on as possible.

 I, Werner Kriel, as the main shareholder obtained a 4 year Architectural Qualification form the Technikon Pretoria, My main experience, prior to establish my own office, consist of working  at:

1989 to 1993              - Samuel Pauw Architects. (Architectural Work)

1993 to 1994              -  South African Navy.  (Architectural Work)

1995 to 1997             - City of Tshwane (Architectural Work & Project Management)

1998 to 2001              - UNISA (Architectural Work & Project Management)

2001 - currently         -Werner Kriel Architectural

We generally focus on Building Plans up to Local Authority Approval stage, which afford the client to manage his/ her project either through an experienced and trusted contractor, a project manager or sometimes the clients themselves. We do not have the capability to do project management fulltime currently, but it is always a privilege to get on site to see how a project evolve and  resolve possible challenges.

Our offices are located at my residence, at 81 Lindfield Road, Lynnwood Manor, which is generally very central and accessible.

​

Most of our work are in the Tshwane area, but we do work in other areas, when capability allow.

​

This firm was established in 2001 and has since undertaken more than 1500 projects in the following fields.

​

1)         Residential additions and alterations .

2)         New Dwellings.

3)         Group housing.

4)         Offices.

5)         Industrial developments.
